Passarino Wires Western Fair Preferred

Even-money favourite Passarino proved stout on the lead as he and driver Jason Ryan wired the field in the $11,000 Preferred Trot which highlighted the Monday (Feb. 9) card at The Raceway at Western Fair District. 

Trained by Garry Merner, Passarino has won three of his last four and 16 times in his career. Bred and owned by Seawind Amg Stbs 2005 Inc of Bouctouche, N.B., the six-year-old gelded son of Lookslikeachipndale-Perfect Prelude has now banked $354,476 for his career.
