Harborlite Ambrose Prevails In Wild Western Fair Photo Finish

Harborlite Ambrose, with Austin Sorrie up, wins this four-wide photo finish in the Friday night Preferred.

Harborlite Ambrose and driver Austin Sorrie circled a wide-open field of a half-dozen Preferred pacers to prevail in a blanket finish on Friday, Feb. 13 at The Raceway at Western Fair District. All four horses would finish within a head of each other - while the final two would be right in behind.

The evening's featured $11,000 Preferred Handicap concluded in a four-across photo finish, with Harborlite Ambrose, who was shuffled to last down the backstretch the final time, closing widest of all in the stretch and getting up in time for the 1:56.3 triumph over the "good" track.
