“Brodys Scrapper - not too many as tough as this guy, to last a full career, racing from age 2 to 14... Great of Travis Cullen retiring him at his farm!” - Bud Sinclair

Brodys Scrapper picked up his 75th career win in his final career start on New Year’s Eve in London and just a few hours later he would turn 15 - the mandatory retirement age for standardbreds racing in Ontario… Driver Travis Cullen was reuniting with Brodys Scrapper for this final race and there was word that Cullen would be bringing the old warrior home to retire on his farm with his other retirement horses.

Truly a storybook ending for all involved!

Brodys Scrapper was owned by Tyler Schlatman and Kevin Skilton for his final career start with Tyler training and Travis Cullen driving. The Raceway’s Amy O’Toole and Greg Blanchard would be on hand for the winner’s circle presentation.
